Net Zero Horizons Phase Two is now live, part of the Denbighshire Enterprise Network, and we’re calling on businesses across North Wales to register now to secure their place. The programme will run until December 2025, giving you time and support to take meaningful steps towards sustainability and carbon reduction.

Following the achievements of Phase One, where 40 businesses received tailored support, we’re scaling up to reach more organisations, deliver greater impact, and unlock even more significant cost and carbon savings.

This year, we are expanding the programme to support 60 new businesses across Ruthin, St Asaph, and Colomendy, helping them to reduce emissions, cut energy costs, upskill their workforce and become more sustainable.

The Impact So Far

The first year of Net Zero Horizons delivered impressive results:

• 40 local businesses supported – issued with Carbon Footprint Reports and Net-Zero Toolkits supported
• Over £350,000 secured in funding for renewable energy installations and sustainable initiatives
• 15 businesses securing grant funding secured up to £ 50,000 in grant funding
• 148 tCO₂e saved in the first year, with a projected 737 tCO₂e over five years
• £49,656 in energy cost saved in one year, projected to reach £248,283 over five years
• Over 200 individuals trained in low-carbon practices and green skills
