What is the project?

The Sbarc 16-30 project will provide advice and funding for individuals and groups of young people aged from 16 to 30 years old living in certain parts of the county who want to start a new business or community enterprise.

How can we help?

Cadwyn Clwyd are implement this exciting project. Project Officer Sian Roberts explains further;
 "Whether you're an individual who wants to start a new business, or a community group that wants to develop a new enterprise, Sbarc 16-30 can help."

"We can provide a bursary of up to £1,000 to buy the necessary equipment or resources to start the business. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a full time, part time, permanent or temporary business – we can support them all."

The bursaries are available for up to 80% of the cost of the support needed and applications will be considered for sums up to £1,000.

The project is funded by Cadwyn Clwyd through the Welsh Assembly Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe Investing in Rural Areas.

Who can apply?

The support is available to young people living in the following electoral wards in Flintshire: Brynford, Buckley Mountain, Caergwrle, Caerwys, Cilcain, Ffynnongroyw, Flint Oakenholt, Flint Trelawny, Gronant, Gwernaffield, Gwernymynydd, Halkyn, Higher Kinnerton, Holywell Central, Holywell East, Holywell West, Hope, Leeswood, Llanfynydd, Mold Broncoed, Mold East, Mold South, Mold West, Mostyn, New Brighton, Northop, Northop Hall, Penyffordd, Saltney Mold Junction, Sealand, Trelawnyd & Gwaenysgor, Treuddyn and Whitford.
