Working together

LEADER Cooperation

Cadwyn Clwyd and the North East Wales Local Action Groups (LAGs) are keen to work with other partners from elsewhere in Wales, the UK or wider EU.  Substantial experience gathered during previous generations of LEADER demonstrate that cooperation is an effective mechanism for helping rural areas jointly develop and share new solutions to common issues.  It is an excellent way of learning from others and sharing best practice.  Cadwyn Clwyd is open to discuss possible cooperation projects with other LAGs.

Approved Projects

Hiraethog Co-operation

Aim of the project is to pilot the co-operation which supports Community-led initiatives in the Hiraethog area.  The project will support the implementation of actions identified in the Hiraethog Strategy and Action Plan. The Strategy and Action Plan was commissioned with LEADER funds in the Rural Development Plan 2007 -2013 with the aim of providing a framework for initiating and implementing community led projects within the area. The Strategy and Action Plan is available to download under here .
